Trash Day raccoon paradise runs start with the squad breaking out of Animal Control, then move through the wilderness scavenging layer toward a wooden "Raccoon Paradise" trail sign. The full release promises six themed areas; each cleared area pays out junk at a checkpoint that feeds cash toward reaching Raccoon Paradise.

More context

In the demo, Raccoon Paradise shows up as a wooden trail-map sign at a forest clearing pointing forward, and the end of the demoed area is gated by a "still under development" wall — so the demo confirms Raccoon Paradise as the journey's destination rather than a finished playable zone.

Starting in Animal Control

Animal Control is the inciting setup for the whole adventure: "You and your raccoon friends are stuck in Animal Control. Break out, steal a wagon, fill it with trash, and haul it all the way to Raccoon Paradise."

The break-out is the first thing every run does, not a tutorial you can skip.

Once the raccoons slip out, the escape immediately turns into scavenging the world and pushing the wagon toward the next waypoint.

What to do next

  1. Escape Animal Control

Take the wagon at the start of the run.

  2. Scavenge the wilderness

Collect useful items and valuable junk while keeping the cart moving.

  3. Cash out at a checkpoint

Sell the haul and prepare tools for the next area toward Raccoon Paradise.

Scavenging the wilderness

The wilderness is one of the main scavenging layers and is the area the public demo is set in. The Steam copy tells raccoons to "Knock over trash cans, search dumpsters, and scour the wilderness for helpful items as well as valuable trash."

  • Campsites dot the route and spawn guard dogs while hiding repair materials.
  • Clearings carry the Raccoon Paradise trail signs that mark forward progress.
  • Desert-canyon terrain, climbable slopes, and a fire lookout tower overlook the whole island.
  • Raccoons can scamper up slopes on their own, but hauling the wagon through the same undergrowth is the harder part.
  • Fallen trees must be cleared, and rocky gaps bridged with planks before the cart can pass.

Heading toward Raccoon Paradise

Raccoon Paradise is the raccoons' stated end-goal and the title that gives each run its direction. The Steam page describes a stolen wagon being hauled "all the way to Raccoon Paradise" as the ultimate payoff.

  • In the demo, Raccoon Paradise shows up as a wooden trail-map sign at a forest clearing, pointing forward down a hiking trail.
  • The end of the demoed area is gated by a "game is still under development" wall, so the demo confirms Raccoon Paradise as the journey's destination rather than a finished playable zone.
  • Each cleared area pays out junk at a checkpoint, and the cash goes toward reaching Raccoon Paradise for good.

The six areas of the full game

Six themed areas are promised for the full release.

Each cleared stretch delivers junk to a checkpoint that feeds cash toward reaching Raccoon Paradise.

The demo only covers one of the six areas, so most of the route is still to be revealed.
